"They Say She Jumped" is a dark psychological thriller that follows Jane Adisa, a quiet, mentally ill nineteen-year-old proofreader at a crumbling newspaper who begins noticing the obituaries are changing. Names she doesn't remember editing. Deaths that haven't happened yet. Including her own.
As her grip on reality slips, Jane uncovers a terrifying mystery buried in the ink and static of her day-to-day life: stories that rewrite themselves, memories that aren't hers, and a stranger named Elliot who may not even be alive or real.
Torn between what's imagined and what's written, Jane spirals through hallucinations, missing time, and a mounting sense that someone or something is authoring her downfall. And as her final deadline approaches, she must ask herself:

EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. That's what they told us when she died, but no one ever questioned the reason. It was always, overdose, a suicide, case closed. We thought it was over, but the past has a way of crawling back, and it doesn't knock. A year later, on the anniversary of her "suicide." we get THAT message. "meet me at noon." Old wounds reopen, and new clues appear. Someone else "commits" suicide. No one is safe when the truth tries to speak.

I was in a very dark place when I was writing this- I just thought I should warn potential readers. I've also changed my writing tremendously! I do not write like this anymore. I think it's safe to say I rushed through the storyline and didn't develop my characters as wisely as I wish I did. And to that I apologize.
