Lucas used to be someone else. Loud. Bright. Alive.
Now he's a ghost in his own home, a problem his family tiptoes around. Cuts and bad habits keep him numb, and that's good enough-because hope is dangerous, and Lucas doesn't believe in it anymore.
But then there's Damian-his brother's best friend, steady and unshakable-and Milo, his own constant since childhood, broken in all the same ways.
They don't know it yet, but Lucas is running out of time.

A slow fall
Caleb was lost and had been for as long as he could remember. He tried to walk the path his parents wanted, but he couldn't see it through the darkness.
