Truly, a person who has nothing to lose is the scariest among all. Jumping from a part-time job to another, barely scraping by, what could a girl in need of money to make ends meet while hoping to continue college do when it gets tiring how hard it is to keep the wolf from the door? Everyday is being a mouse in the home of predators for Davina. Surviving isn't just about waking up, eating, and sleeping in a cycle-it was a war against beds of anacondas, relentless and fatal. When a full-time job crossed her vulnerable path, despite its lack of stability, it was not something she could hesitate to grab when driven by desperation for money. This opportunity, where she meets the marvelous scientist, opens another and to the next, beyond imaginable. She was drawn, intoxicated. And the more she lets herself be consumed, the more she unveils that she was more than just a mere product of her past, she is a prey paying for the consequences of her existence. Is she really like a moth to a flame? Or is she the flame to a moth that could barely fly?
