Celestial Country possesses a royal family, since the old time to the presents. Luna’s grandfather (Denzel) was best friend of the previous King (Maximilian). To honor Denzel’s friendship, the previous King dictated that Luna Whitney, Denzel granddaughter, is to become the Crown Princess of Celestial by marrying the current Crown Prince, Lucas Everett.
