Princess Allaena Targaryen, youngest daughter of King Viserys and Queen Aemma, was never meant to shape the realm. Cherished and bold, she lived free of duty-until love bound her to Ser Criston Cole, her sworn protector and secret heart.

When she's wed to a Dornish prince for politics, it's Criston who stays at her side, raising children that bear his blood, though the realm must never know.

Now King Viserys is dead. The Dance of the Dragons begins. Rhaenyra calls for her loyalty. Her family demands her choice. But Allaena's true allegiance lies with Criston-and the legacy they've built in the shadows.

As war ignites, Allaena must decide: protect her family... or fight for the future only fire can claim.

ART IS FROM ILDRAWS ON INSTAGRAM Born into the storm of courtly whispers and dragonfire, Princess Aelora Targaryen never chose the life that was laid before her. As the second daughter of King Viserys I, and twin to the son who had been wanted for decades, she was raised beneath the shadow of her sister Rhaenyra's claim and her brother who did not live longer than a day, torn between the warmth of Alicent Hightower's affection and the bitter chill of palace politics. But fate carved a different path for her. Sent north in an arranged marriage to Cregan Stark, Lord of Winterfell, Aelora was exiled from the only home she'd ever known. What began as duty became something more-a quiet, enduring love. -- I've decided that even though this fic is an OC x Cregan pairing, and the Targaryens are canonically white, I want to be more mindful of my readers, many of whom are women of color. From now on, Aelora's skin tone will not be described in a way that restricts her to a specific race. I'll also be editing past chapters to reflect this change. This way, readers can envision her in a way that feels more inclusive and representative of a variety of identities. You guys are also encouraged to point out paragraphs and chapters where it's obvious that she's being described as white, so I can modify it and make it more inclusive. I've seen multiple discussions on Tumblr about how the fanfic community often lacks inclusivity for women of color. Even in fics where the OC is supposed to be the legitimate daughter of Rhaenyra and Laenor, they're often still described as white. I want to do better, and even though my fic is an OC, I want all of you to feel seen and represented

In the glittering halls of Tudor England, where ambition and desire entwine, a new force arrives to disrupt the fragile balance of power. Lady Vittoria de' Medici, a radiant beauty from the illustrious Florentine dynasty, is sent to Henry VIII's court with her brother to negotiate a trade alliance. With her sharp wit, refined elegance, and beguiling charm, she quickly becomes the centre of attention in a realm already ablaze with political and romantic intrigue. For King Henry, embroiled in a tempestuous relationship with Anne Boleyn, Vittoria is an irresistible distraction-a woman who embodies the sophistication and allure of a world beyond England's shores. For Anne, Vittoria is both a threat and a mirror, reflecting the precariousness of her own position as Henry's affections waver. As Vittoria navigates the treacherous waters of court politics, she must balance her family's ambitions with her own desires. Torn between duty and the unexpected stirrings of her heart, she finds herself drawn to Henry in ways she never anticipated. What begins as a calculated manoeuvre to secure her family's future soon spirals into a passionate love affair that will shape the fate of a kingdom. Henry VIII x oc
