CODE BLUE; a hospital emergency code for respiratory or cardiac arrest.

Dr Mary Azizi likes the simple life. Unfortunately, right now? The simple life doesn't like her.

She's beginning her second year of surgical residency, but has no idea what her specialty is. She's living in her own apartment, thirty minutes from her parents' home, but she can't bear having a roommate. She has friends she wouldn't trade for the world, but some of those friends come with a whole lot of drama - or at least are trying to, and headed in her direction.

And as if that's not NOT simple enough - the man of her parents' dreams, their version of her ideal husband, the one she's trying and struggling to keep an open mind about - for their sake -... Is her resident.

And now she's emotionally coding because her life? So damn far from simple.
