bobby's daughter has been held a secret to the best of his extent. on a rough hunt, bobby has no choice but to call his daughter dakota to help sam and dean out of the trouble. this event caused dean to get over an argument with bobby when he found out who dakota is, the arguement was mainly about bobby keeping his daughter from sam and dean for so long. the rest is history.
