Vegas was driving on the highway with his friends. The car was quiet. No music. No laughter. No talking. Just thoughts. 

Vegas stopped the car at a red light and got out. All his friends heard the door open and looked at him. They watched Vegas walk out and through the traffic. 

Vegas jumped over the barricade to the other side of the highway and walked effortlessly through the speeding carsick he was immortal. 

After he got to the other side of the highway, he jumped off and was never seen again.

He smiled warmly and then started slowly moving closer to Vegas so that their faces were just inches apart before placing a small but tender kiss on the man's anticipating lips. Pete retracted his face slightly by a few centimetres and averted his focus on to Vegas' dusky brown eyes which stared back at him longingly. "You're here to kill me anyways, right?" ------------------------------------- Vegas, a lonesome hitman, is sent to eliminate Pete but after he spends only a brief amount of time with his target he begins to question his orders. Is it his sense of morality stopping him from finishing the job, or something else? ------------------------------------- This is an au (alternative universe) fanfiction revolving around the couple 'VegasPete' from the series Kinnporsche. It will feature characters of the same names and personalities as in the show (as well as a few new characters) but doesn't follow any plot from the show and can be read without having to watch the show beforehand. + Kinn and Porsche will also have a minor plot line of their own as side characters. This is based of an original story I wrote last year which I have adapted and improved much since. I hope you guys enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.

(A/N: Not to favor heteronormativity but in the novel Vegas calls Pete "wife" not "husband" so, I'm following it. There are people who get offended when there's an LGBTQIA+ couple and they call them 'husband & wife' BUT there are also those who are OKAY with this. I have a friend in a homosexual relationship who's being called by his bf as 'wife' hehe. In the Christmas special of KP novel, I concluded Pete is okay with this since Vegas refers to him as his wife and he doesn't complain.)
