After being betrayed and isolated by Megatron, Soundwave finds himself stranded and low on energon. When he is discovered by Autobot Bumblebee, who decides to give him a chance, Soundwave is taken to the Autobot base. He was checked medically out by Autobots MC Ratchet. After that, Optimus Prime integrated Soundwave before being placed under Bumblebee's watch. Despite Autobots' initial distrust, Bumblebee vouches for him and starts teaching him the Autobots' ways, setting up an intriguing dynamic between Soundwave and the Autobots.
