Hayley is ready and excited to move out, and when close family friend Jay happens to be moving in with his longtime girlfriend, and needs someone to take up his tenancy at the flat he shares with a close friend, she is the first to come to his mind.
Excited by the idea of moving somewhere new and undaunted by the prospect of living with a guy, Hayley happily accepts the offer only to discover, on the day of the move-in, that her roommate is the last person she ever wanted to see again.
Joshua, aka Shua, Hong. Her nemesis throughout most of school, who had never missed an opportunity to tease her about some of her interests, or the freckles that dotted her nose and cheeks, among other things- but that wasn't even the worst part. No. No, the worst part had come in their final year of high school when, on their first day of classes Joshua had confessed to having a crush on her- a *crush*?!- only to break her heart before the end of the school year, and all but disappear off the face of the earth... or so it had seemed to Hayley at the time.

Now forced to be roommates, several years later, will Hayley and Joshua be able to put the past behind them and start afresh...or will old scars once thought long-healed reopen, and threaten to shatter the fragile peace that begins to grow between them?
