Told through the haunting beauty of four symbolic bells, this story is a tragic love tale woven from the structure and emotion of Edgar Allan Poe's iconic poem "The Bells." Each bell rings in a chapter of their lives:
~ Silver Bells - Childhood: Where innocence dances in the meadow and love begins with shared stargazing and a bell-shaped necklace.
~ Golden Bells - Marriage: A celebration of unity, of whispered promises and future dreams-until joy is shattered by the brazen scream of war.
~ Brazen Bells - War: Chaos erupts during their first dance, and in an act of selfless love, Celeste takes a bullet meant for Auden-leaving behind silence, blame, and aching grief.
~ Iron Bells - Death: In the stillness of night, when even sorrow sleeps, Celeste returns as an angel. Their final messages echo through time as two hearts, once broken, find peace where the bells can no longer reach.

DISCLAIMER!!!!!!!: This story was inspired by Hitoshizuku_Yamasankakkei's original song Feathers Across the Seasons. This is their version of the Japanese folklore The Crane Wife and I was inspired to write out a story and put in my own twist to it. If you give my book a chance I highly recommend listening to the song and reading the lyrics first because there are major lines in the story that I borrowed from the song lyrics because they were sweet and powerful lines. So I give credit to Hitoshizuku_Yamasankakkei's for being my inspiration and for the lyrics that I did use in my story.Complete
