Breaking Easton Summers' wrist and the hockey team's hopes of making it to state is practically a crime. With the hatred of her school and the Summers being generous while her family is the opposite, a lot of weight had been dropped onto Laine's shoulder. Now that weight has doubled when she has to write for Easton.
