Emma Calloway never expected to race alongside the man who made her fall in love with the sport. At just twenty-four, she's the only woman in Formula 2, already used to whispers, doubt, and second-guessing. But when Ferrari calls her up to replace Carlos Sainz at the last minute during the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, everything changes. Her debut shocks the paddock - and so does the announcement that she'll be joining Ferrari full-time the following season, as teammate to none other than Lewis Hamilton. He's a legend. A seven-time World Champion. And he has no idea she grew up idolizing him. Oh, did I mention he's forty years old? At first, Lewis sees only a young, determined rookie trying to find her footing. But race after race, Emma proves she's more than headlines or hype - she's calm under pressure, sharper than anyone expects, and quietly extraordinary. The problem is, he notices. And the more he sees, the harder it becomes to ignore the pull. Emma feels it too, but she's careful. She's already battling every stereotype in the sport. The last thing she needs is to be seen as the girl who has a crush on Lewis Hamilton. Even if, somewhere deep down, she does. As the season unfolds, so does the tension between them - intense, unspoken, impossible to ignore. They dance around it in press conferences, late-night briefings, and quiet garage corners. He's supposed to be her mentor, her teammate, her hero. He can't be anything else. But the line between admiration and something deeper begins to blur. And in a world where everything is about control, what happens when the one thing you can't control is your heart?

BOOK 1 Alyssa has been racing under a fake persona for most of her sporting career after becoming sick of the constant dismissal of her talent because of her gender. Gender clearly didn't play a role in driving ability. In her debut season in Formula 2 in 2018 with ART, she finished a single point behind the championship winner, Nick de Vries. She only seemed to improve and managed to beat her teammate, Robert Schwartzman, for the championship in her second year. Despite this, she refused to take off her helmet and reveal her identity to the world. If it hadn't been for Force India spotting her and recommending the young girl, despite her gender, to be a part of a dominant F2 team, Alyssa would never have made it all the way into F1. The pink team, who were successfully clawing back after a dip in performance, liked to gamble; it was certainly a risk when they decided to promote Alyssa up into F1 as a replacement for Sergio Perez. The Brit was only eighteen years old when Force India told her about Checo's retirement, and how she was to be his replacement. Her ability to maintain her F2 champion status despite filling in for him in the F1 seat on two occasions was a main motivator for the decision. They were aware of her struggles to make it as far as she had done so respected her wishes to keep the helmet on and her identity hidden. It brought them more sponsors than Esteban Ocon, and therefore more money to improve the car - why would they complain? For Alyssa, this was a real chance to prove herself. A woman can and will make it big in a male-dominated sport. But will it pay off when it's lights out?
