The relic's awakening

A world in which its goddess has fallen into a deep slumber no longer being able to protect her world after abandoning her divinity and living as a human for hundreds of years a shadow plays at strings from its darkness. Though the goddess has gone into slumber her followers protect the world alongside its 5 saints who represent one of the original followers of their goddess. Where magic exist but only through lost and powerful relics gifted by the minor gods or found in ancient ruins which have once been the souls of powerful magical beasts, Hero's, and Gods can one attain powerful magic. Where knights pledge absolute loyalty to their lords and failing to do so will mark them as deserters where their souls can fall into the grasps of the shadows eternally casted into damnation forced to follow the shadows mastermind.

Hey everyone I know I have other projects going on and this is coming out of the blue but I haven't abandoned them il continue to write them whenever I have the inspiration and the time, but with college going on and some other things as well I haven't had the most time to write. This one chapter took me the better part of a year so the next chapter might take around the same considering I'm coming up with everything from scratch. Feel free to leave me any criticism you might have il be checking in on any comments jus incase, also if you'd like feel free to give me names to use in the story im not exactly the best when it comes to names even now im iffy on the name I have chosen for the main character and some of the other characters.
