Genre: Historical Romance Era: 11th Century CE, Chalukya Dynasty (South India) Setting: The temple town of Pattadakal, a UNESCO heritage site known for its majestic sandstone temples Themes: Sacred love, caste/class conflict, duty vs. desire, divine architecture Avantika, daughter of a respected temple sculptor, spends her days sketching mandapas and secretly dreaming of being more than just a craftsman's daughter. Her soul yearns for the beauty of the sacred shrines she helps decorate - and for something unnamed. Yuvan, a prince disguised as a wandering ascetic, arrives at Pattadakal under a false identity, seeking escape from the politics of court life. He is drawn to the intricate carvings of the temples and the girl who shapes them. Their love blooms in the shadows of shrines, between sculptures and rituals, beneath the watchful gaze of gods. But the kingdom has rules. And love between a royal and a sculptor's daughter is forbidden by caste and dharma. As they navigate ancient rituals, midnight temple festivals, and betrayals cloaked in saffron robes, Avantika and Yuvan must choose between what is sacred and what is true.

"To all the girls who feel they are unfortunate." Chandrika -The princess of Ajmer labelled as the bad omen for the palace, she had always been kept locked in a room with nothing but silent screams ringing in her ears reminding her every second that she is nothing but a curse for her loved ones. Now those screams are no less than a lullaby which helps her sleep after each failed attempt to end her life every single night. Her innocent soul now rests in the pit of hope which diminishes in small doses, that one day someone will see her for who she wants to be. Someone who will see her not as a curse, but as a girl who just wants to be loved. Sultan Adil Faisal khan- Sultan of the Mughal Sultanate The young man who was titled as the Sultan at the very young age of 19, but deep down his tough mask resides in an innocent heart which aches every second missing someone he can never meet. Even though it's false for him to think of her when he knows he can't have her, his heart always repels his brain whispering, "what if?". what if one day he could meet her again? what if he could inhale her sweet scent again? What if he could confess his longing towards her? what if...? This world carries so much magic that to justify its unrealistic nature we label it as coincidence. Funny right? This story or as I should say every other romance story says otherwise even the sad ones and I totally agree. In this universe, where people are busy calculating possibilities of a dice number also live people like me who believe in fate, and I think anyone who reads does believe in fate. "kisi na kisi ko hai banaya har kisike liye" this lyric says everything I want to convey through my story. Each person in our life is like a chapter who helps us reach our happy ending. So, let's turn our pages and read through them. Shall we?
