Seth was a junior in high school, and he had exactly one friend. But for some reason, halfway through junior year seems to be prime time to have, like, eight people transfer to his school.

And, since this already seems like it's going to be the best year of his life, (note the sarcasm,) those people get to be:

-Amanda, a girl who inexplicably seems to want to be his friend.
-Nolan, his childhood bully.
-And Eli, who is so pretty it seems like he's from a different planet, and hey, he might as well be. He's from England.

...and also sits next to him in AP Chem.
