"Make·o·ver: a complete transformation or remodeling of something, especially a person's hairstyle, makeup, or clothes."
A makeover. A materialistic thing that everyone strives for. You strive to prove to people that you can be a more beautiful you. So you ditch the dirty converse for stilettos, no matter how many blisters mask your feet. You ditch the endless amount of hair ties you have collected over the years from throwing your hair into daily ponytails and start burning yourself on accident from learning how to style your hair. You apply lipstick instead of chapstick, and learn how to properly apply face makeup. Voilà. Now you sit and wait for the newly found confidence to set in.
Are you a more beautiful you now?

After Payton Phillips was betrayed by her boyfriend and best friend freshman year, she disappeared off of the face of the earth. No one has heard from her since. Until, the first day of senior year. After spending the previous summer preparing her return with her cousin Kelsey, she comes back full force with confidence, strength, and of course, a makeover.
She was no longer the insecure freshman with a interesting choice of style and a friend group of two. She was Payton Phillips the girl with a golden heart, and she wanted her life back.
