When ten year old Nolan discovers an old fashioned pen and ink set half buried in his underwear drawer, curiosity makes him open the box. He pretty much loses calm when an inky black vortex pops open above his head, and is sucked in. Teleporting to what seems to be a parallel world is the last straw for him, and he's a pretty collected boy. There seems to be all of his drawings from his entire life in this new, strange place and they're not on paper anymore! Worst of all, they've come to life. "That's not my fault." --------- Cally has lived a fairly normal, happy, oblivious life. She goes to school, has a best friend, and lives in a normal house on the corner of the street. Her friends become concerned for her when she starts spacing out more and more and random times, and becomes completely unresponsive to the outside world. No one guesses that she can't communicate because she's not in her body. Cally is in a different dimension, with a boy known as "The Puller" who pulls things from Earth and adds them to his own world. To people on Earth, it just looks as if Cally is zoned out. But she isn't just lost in the clouds.

It is up to Elliot to show Nolan just how much he means to the world with little things that constantly consist of the two's everyday lifestyle. Nolan has to learn how to love all while setting aside the traumatic pain he endured by trying to become a better vision of himself for his lover.
