Ivy Flatley, a journalist and illegitimate child of the late Baron of the Evermore Estate, gets an earth shattering phone-call that her brother has passed and left everything to her, making her life is turn upside down. Reluctantly she packs up her life and moves to Rutshire, her brother was all she had left and she couldn't bear the thought of going against his wishes. Whilst adjusting to the major change and battling forces trying to take what was rightfully left to her, she becomes apart of the community whether she likes it or not.
