It was for the best.

It has been a long time since we've been doing this, and even though we've come this far, I didn't know if I could keep going like this.

I was reminded of what my dad used to say.

Just because you've invested a lot in something doesn't mean you should keep going until you see the fruits. Sometimes it is just better to let go and start over.

And I'm gonna do it now.
