For as long as she could remember, Dusk has never felt at home in the modern world. With her father drowning in alcoholism and her mother constantly out of town, Dusk is left to clean up the piling mess and dreams of escaping her chaotic home life through her favorite books, movies and shows.
Years go by, and Dusk finds herself jumping through the multiverse of fandoms as she passes through her looking glass and finally finds a home in Glorious. An island that is everything the modern world is not; where she can conjure magic, unearth the codes and history of secret organizations, and fight valiantly with Kings and Queens from centuries back.
But as Dusk returns to Glorious Isle after a long semester at college, she senses a disturbance in the force, as her enemies outside the Isle's borders prepare to bring discord and destruction upon her land. With time slipping through her fingers and her enemies growing bolder, Dusk and her closest friends search beyond the border for new allies in order to have a fighting chance at protecting the Island they call home. But will it be enough?
