In a world where quirks define fate, a mysterious underground hero with dark wings, black horns, and power akin to legend is called into the light by Principal Nezu to assist with training the next generation of heroes. Known only by her hero name-Black Veil-her full strength and tragic past are shrouded in secrecy. Her quirk, Ashborn, grants her immense power and the haunting curse of resurrection through grief, and transformation into the Black Phoenix.
As she bonds with the students of Class 1-A, especially kindred spirits like Tokoyami and the fierce Bakugo, she finds purpose-and unexpected vulnerability-in guiding young heroes. Among them, one stands out: Hawks. His wings of red clash and complement her own, and together, they discover something more powerful than quirks-love.
But peace is a fleeting luxury. When the League of Villains ambush her and sever her wings to display them as trophies, Black Veil is grounded in more ways than one. Through recovery, rebirth, and the deepening ties to her students and Hawks, she rises again-stronger, fiercer, and with a legacy that cannot be silenced.
