"I Am The Chill That Runs Down Your Spine." A My Hero Academia

Many millennia after the Hour Glass had been granted it's new wielder in Fire God Liu Kang, the Lord of Fire and Thunder had finally done it. Attempt after attempt, with war crippling all lands, destroying all life, complete and utter failure in every new timeline, he finally crafted a world that could stand on it's own two legs. Outworld and Earthrealm would still be at odds, but Earthrealm now had a new weapon to combat the Outworlders... quirks, born through natural means. Even a common citizen could now at least pose an annoyance.

However, with improvements to Earthrealm, so too did the Outworld improvements come. The conflict amongst Earthrealmers also increased to the point that some incredible candidates to become champions went on to become villains, or were killed at early ages due to their immense power, or their classmates jealousy, not to mention that the usual conflicts of past timelines still remained.

Still, Liu Kang searched. He searched for champions for Mortal Kombat, ones willing to do what needs to be done, ones who will fight for the greater good, not to switch sides at the drop of a hat. And in one boy, born of very peculiar blood, he might have found just that.
