Ann Walker has never once questioned her career. It wasn't like anything that she did was unusual in this world. She mixed genes to create zoomorphic species, and eventually sell them to Freak Shows for money. She had already been working there for weeks, knowing the basics the first week she got there. Little did she know she wasn't as much of a know-it-all as she thought she was.
Chaos erupts one night when Ann forgets to seal the predator enclosure. Hybrids lunge out, viciously attacking anyone, or anything, that gets in their way. Crawling to a hiding spot, she is soon dragged out by a tiger-only to be saved by a velociraptor hybrid named Valor.
Now on the run, the two are forced into an unexpected cat and mouse chase. With Ann trying to keep Valor safe from Beast Control, keep him safe from being trapped again and eventually sold. Whilst Valor becomes her fierce protector, defending her from police who refuse to accept the incident was an accident. Through a world that sees the two as monsters, the two embark on a thrilling journey full of suspense, action, and heartbreak.
Could a human and a hybrid find freedom in a world full of confinement?
