Beneath the Eclipse

Born blind and fragile during a rare lunar eclipse, a celestial event no werewolf had been born under for decades-Ishara Selani Zayana was seen by the entire werewolf community as a cursed child, unclaimed by the Moon Goddess herself. But despite the whispers and judgment beyond their borders, she never became a laughingstock or a punching bag in her own pack. Within her pack, she was adored just as much as their Alpha and Luna, pampered like a baby.

The Luna named her Ishara Selani Zayana-Ishara, in honor of her late mother Shari and the Luna's own name, Ara; Selani, inspired by the Moon Goddess Selene; and Zayana, meaning grace or beautiful blessing. They believed she was special, still blessed in a way no one else could see.

But as she comes of age at fifteen, her true test begins. When she steps into the world beyond her pack, will others see her as the Moon Goddess's child, or will they continue to label her a cursed child, unclaimed and forsaken? The path to acceptance and power will not be easy, as Ishara Selani Zayana struggles to prove her worth and uncover the true meaning of her birth under the lunar eclipse.
