A new graduate from medical school, starting a residency program in the recently more open country of Wakanda, is given only one patient. James Bucky Barnes. They spend two years together, both having to relive their pasts in order to heal and move forward. However, after the snap, she is left alone with a mysterious new sixth sense allowing her to feel and control others emotions. But all she can feel is grief and rage or an empty numbness. Even after the blip when Bucky is back with her, she cannot forgive herself, and wonders if she will ever find her happiness with him again.
This is a story of love, of loss and of healing. This is story is a representation of several different mental health disorders, (of which I the author have struggle and gone to treatment for or have very close friends who have) and the exhausting mountain it takes to climb to overcome.
