Thea has always felt... off. Haunted by dreams of fire-lit wings and ancient songs, she drifts through her quiet town trying to be normal. But when a mysterious boy with storm-gray eyes begins watching her from the shadows, the veil over her life begins to slip. She is not who she thinks she is. Unbeknownst to her, Thea is the first angel in centuries born without knowledge of what she is-a being of light hidden in a human life. Every other angel has either ascended or been claimed by the Fallen, twisted into darkness. All but her. Damian, once a commander of Heaven's armies now one of the Fallen, is sent to bring her over. But something about her stills him. Instead of claiming her, he watches. Protects. Begins to care. As dark forces close in and secrets rise from the ashes of her past, Thea must face a truth even more dangerous than the one she's been running from: that the line between good and evil is thinner than anyone wants to believe. And she may be the only one who can rewrite the rules. But to do that, she'll have to choose-what kind of person will she become?

One Winged Devil... Angel of Death... Monster... Those were the titles he acquired when he descended to Gehenna. On that day, his rage engulfed countless demons. She was just an ordinary girl who used to dream of an angel with emerald eyes, growing white wings on his back and ascending to the sky. One day, angels started falling from the sky. He fell in her backyard. And for some reasons, he treated her as if she was more precious to him than anything the world can offer... * * * * * "Look! An angel!" I said while pointing my finger towards the sky. "Huh? Where?" He raised his head and his eyes gazed upon the moonlit sky in search of that angel. "Where is..." Before he could finish his words, I hugged him from behind. I rested my head over his back and I could listen to his heartbeats. A smile crept over my face as my hand crawled to his chest. "Right here, inside your heart." "Honey, there is no angel in my heart," He stated as he turned around, held my hand and kissed it. His face was stained by tears when looked right into my eyes and smiled. "There is but a goddess."
