"Why do they call us troublemakers anyway?" Brice asks, as he flops down on the couch.

"We are teenagers, it is what we do," I reply, the sarcasm lining my tone. "Isn't that what the typical teenager does?"

"True," he says nodding his head in agreement. 

"It's not like we are bad kids," Carson says sitting on the couch nicely, unlike Brice's flop. 

"They are adults," I say taking a sip of my lemonade. "Their version of crazy is cribbage after eleven."

"God only knows what we do in their minds," Brice says, a smile coming upon his face.

We all laugh, and I can't wait until the summer begins. The twelfth summer of the "Troublemakers" all together again.

I yelled but not loud enough for any one else to hear. "What the-" he paused and looked at Ivory. I watched him silently. He turned to me again. "Would you say something?" I asked getting nervous. "What do you want me to fucking say?" He asked. "I don't know....." I trailed off. Humans make mistakes..... right? Yes, so therefore three people made mistakes that night. Logan made the first mistake. He cheated on Aurora. Aurora made the next mistake. She drank to forget the mistake Logan made. Ethan, the school's bad boy made the last mistake. He slept with Aurora without a condom. You know what that means yea? You're right, a baby comes. Ivory comes. (Baby gender revealed 😑) Aurora didn't tell the bad boy she was pregnant for him. But now she has the baby and she has to tell him right? I mean it's the only sane thing to do DNA is one of the solutions of course but not when the child looks exactly like Ethan. 😉. The bad boy is obviously not the most sociable person so it wasn't easy of course. For heaven's sake he doesn't even know this girl. A hand grabbed my arm and I twisted out of it on instinct. There was a glimmer of surprise in his eyes as I faced the last of the Five in the now almost empty hallway. Derek. Almost as tall as Mac. Black hair like the twins with ice cold blueish grey eyes. Same fighters build, six pack and all but not as soft as Mac or as feminine as the twins beauty. He was more rugged. I did understand the appeal of these boys but there were a lot of good looking guys on the swim team too and I did go with Jarred when he had fights. "You know we wouldn't let anyone hurt you right? Even if Jarred isn't around, we'll be here to protect you." I blinked. I blinked again. Nope, he was still standing there with the same serious expression. Derek, the unofficial leader of the Five, the boy every guy would want to be friends with and every girl would love to sleep with, was offering me his protection. I did the only thing that made sense in that situation. I burst out laughing. I was laughing so hard that I doubled over and when I glanced up at him I just cracked up again. He stood through it all without any emotion on his face, there was barely a glimmer of anger in his eyes. If anything I might have seen some surprise. I patted him on the arm and winked. "You. Are. Funny! I don't need you idiots to look out for me. But thanks for the thought." With that I quickly made my way to class.
