The Soviets invaded West Germany through East German proxy. The KPA and PLA launched an offensive to South Korea, effectively crippling Seoul- forcing South Korean government to a surrender.
With the lack of US supervision of Japan and the bureaucracy complications that put Japan unsupervised, Suzukaze Shohei, an imperialist sympathizer launched a coup and seized the prime minister position. Under his orders, Japan began remilitarization to form "The Second Japanese Empire"

Deletion of 1940 America: Subtraction in World War II
An alternate scenario of World War II. Typically, these stories involve adding elements, such as equipping Japan with modern technology or granting them knowledge from the future. But that approach feels too conventional, so I tried subtracting instead. I decided to remove the enormous factor that is the United States of America. The result was an entirely different history. The First OTHER World War (NWY2)
On one New Year's Eve, the moment the International Date Line welcomed the new year first, the change occurred. Communications between nations were severed, climates shifted, and unknown lands emerged. Eventually, as each country gathered information and realized they had somehow been transported to another world, their reactions varied. America: "FUCK YEAH! Frontier time, baby!" Russia: "FUCK YEAH! It's warmer now, and the vodka tastes even better!" China: "FUCK YEAH! Not sure what's going on, but there's a ton of stuff that looks edible!" Japan: "Must go to work." ...Or so one might expect, but in reality, each country moved forward with its own agenda, heading straight toward a clash of civilizations. Cold War Rivals in a New World
The United States and the Warsaw Pact of 1990 are transported to the World of Summoning Japan. A few assumptions are made: 1. Germany is reunited and no longer part of the Warsaw Pact. 2. Mikhail Gorbachev is kept in Power. Warning: may contain extended rambling about tank variants, and alternate history of production/bringing prototypes into service. Sources and pictures will be provided when this applies. This Story is not made to slander the Soviet Union nor is it made to spread an anti Russian message. The Soviet Union portrayed here differs in its actions and may not represent the political sentiment held by former citizens of the USSR during its existence. It is not made to spread a political message about the current conflict in Ukraine. Since the lore accurate map in the original Summoning Japan is too small to host both the US and the USSR, it will be expanded by a factor of 2.5 to prevent the world from getting too cramped. Dick Cheney also did not cancel the F-14 Program, leading to all F-14s being the D model which in this world flew first in 1985.

Japan has no choice but stepped as new defender of Taiwan alongside with Australia, they form alliance known as the PDTO or Pacific Defensive Treaty Organizations, because successfull repelling People Republic of China from Taiwan and see how threatening PRC, some country decided to sided and join PDTO in hope for protection from Japan, while some country forming their own alliances to ensure safety from both Chinese and Japanese. As the PDTO on brink on war against the East Asian Defense Initiative or known as EADI which led by the People Republic of China, unexpected event happened as the entire PDTO transferred to unknown magical world With Vanish of threat from EADI, they could breath and calmed for moment, however, it's not time to rest as there may adventure or upcoming risk that would enlarger the name of PDTO. How will Japan and its allies act in the New World? This fanfic is heavily inspired by the HOI4 MODS called The Fire Rises This is a Nihonkoku shoukan fanfic; I do not own Summon Japan.
