The year was 1787 and a girl was born on a full moon night her name was Miranda but let me tell you a secret most did not know, Miranda was a witch! But not just any witch, she was the only witch to have ever existed and being born at a time when women suspected of being witches would often and more commonly be burnt to the stake, some were hung, beheaded, and sometimes even drowned but that's not what this story is about this a tale of Miranda a little girl who didn't choose to be born what she was.

Stella Davis was raised in the Order: a vampire hunting organization. Her whole life was hunting and killing vampires. Her whole future was hunting and killing vampires. Those were the cards she was dealt, but she wasn't prepared for her hand to be abruptly changed. Turned into the very thing she'd been raised to hate, now a vampire, Stella navigates her new reality by maintaining its secret. Her new station at the infamous, supernaturally known Willowbrook University, conveniently nearby where whispers of a cure led, she had a plan. She'd track the man down who supposedly had the cure, become human again, and no one would ever have to know. Easy. Until Rhys St. James showed up in her life and rattled her. Arrogant, annoying, and a vampire. No one could know what she was, but with their agendas somewhat lining up, she'd make an exception for him.
