The Fifth Floor

Let me tell you about a certain group of weirdos. Four girls live together on the fifth floor of an apartment building in a certain city. I won't give you the exact address-just in case they sue me for violating their privacy.

They call themselves "GAME." No one remembers which one of them coined the name in a burst of collectivist enthusiasm, but it's just their initials. "Good thing Gloria's name isn't Lydia," said Echo. "Otherwise we'd be LAME."

This is a story about household democracy, badge-powered authoritarianism, and mosquito-driven political collapse.
