Sorcerers can see the future-just not their own.

For generations, sorcerer families have made their living by divining fate for others. But there's a catch: revealing heaven's secrets comes at a cost. Their heirs are born frail, and few live to old age.

They could read fortunes for their own kin, too-but spilling those secrets? That'd earn them a one-way ticket to divine punishment.

Enter Sky, the youngest grandson of Bangkok's most powerful sorcerer lineage... and the last of their bloodline.

On his 18th birthday, his grandfather gave him the traditional coming-of-age prophecy-only to uncover a grim twist: Sky wouldn't survive past 28, all because of some "destined person." Sky's response? "Cool. If I find them and 'cancel' their destiny, I'm golden." So he cheated the system, using a forbidden charm to track them down.

Meanwhile, Nani's life was a comedy of errors. Instant noodles? No flavor packet. Buses? Always pulling away as he sprinted toward them. His only talent? Fighting. (And maybe failing upward.)

Then, after getting booted from his soccer team (again, for fighting), some curly-haired weirdo offered him a job as a "luck-changing assistant."

Spoiler: It was 100% a bodyguard gig.

And thus-their chaos began.

"The ones choosen by the Destiny" by kuromi48
18 parts Ongoing
It had been six months since their wedding - an arranged marriage that neither of them had expected to fall in love with. What began as a polite partnership had grown into something quietly intoxicating. Sky had learned to share his world, to open up the parts of himself he'd locked away. Nani had learned what it felt like to be truly seen, to be loved with a fierce, almost possessive devotion. Their days were ordinary in the most beautiful way - shared breakfasts, lazy evenings, laughter echoing through their modern apartment. Their nights were a blend of passion and peace, bodies tangled together, the world fading beyond their heartbeat. To the world, they were perfect. But behind that perfection, destiny had already begun to weave something darker. ___________ When Sky was offered a new project - to renovate a centuries-old mansion deep within the forest by a quiet lake - he felt drawn to it for reasons he couldn't explain. The proposal arrived through an anonymous investor, the details unnervingly vague. The mansion itself was massive, long abandoned, yet its architecture was hauntingly beautiful. The lake beside it shimmered like glass, unmoving, silent - almost too silent. They moved temporarily into a nearby bungalow - modern, luxurious, and eerily quiet. The few neighbors around rarely stepped outside. Even the air felt still, as if the whole place was waiting. It was supposed to be just another project - six months of work, a lifetime of reward. But from the moment they arrived, Nani felt it. A pull. A whisper. Like the walls, the lake, the forest - they all knew their names already. As if something... or someone... had been waiting for them to return. And soon, both Sky and Nani would realize - love isn't the only thing that can survive lifetimes. Sometimes, hauntings do too.

King Sky Wongravee, heir to the throne, had always followed the rules. But on his twenty-third birthday, his thread glows for someone unexpected - a commoner Omega, Nani Hirunkit. The kingdom is outraged. A villager Omega is unworthy to stand beside the king. The elders demand a union to produce an heir, but whispers, judgment, and unspoken pressure weigh heavily on Nani's shoulders. Nani respects Sky, even admires him - but he is terrified. Not of the king's strength, but of his own heart. How can a lowborn Omega hope to belong to a king? How can he allow himself to love, when every noble in the court believes he does not deserve the throne - or the king's heart? Sky is gentle. He never forces Nani, never commands him, and never betrays his trust. Yet love is not something that can be ordered. And for an heir to be born, it must grow naturally, freely, and fully in Nani's heart. As whispers turn to scrutiny and the court watches every interaction, Nani must confront his fear, self-doubt, and the chains of society. Will he learn to trust Sky? Will he learn that love cannot be stolen, but can be given? Introduction - The Sky's Embrace (Connected to the Kingdom of Knights) Long ago, the Kingdom of Knights stood as the strongest realm, protected by four legendary princes-Bright, Win, Mew, and Gulf-who wielded elemental powers. With their combined strength, they upheld peace and prosperity. But peace is fragile. A great betrayal shattered the balance, igniting a war that left the kingdom in ruins. The royal family was slaughtered, the castles reduced to ash, and the once-glorious four protectors fell into an enchanted slumber-sealed away until the rightful heir awakened them. The world believed the royal bloodline was lost forever. But a secret remained-the last prince survived. Nani, the hidden heir, had been whisked away as an infant and protected beneath the ocean, raised by the merfolk with no knowledge of his true origins. He grew up believing he was just another child of the sea, unaware of the destiny waiting for him. Watching over him from the celestial realm was Sky, a divine guardian bound by fate to protect the last prince. For years, Sky had remained unseen, ensuring that Nani's enemies never found him. But now, darkness is rising once more. The same enemy that destroyed the Kingdom of Knights is returning, determined to finish what they started. With Nani's identity finally revealed, he and Sky embark on a dangerous journey to reclaim the lost kingdom. But even with the guardian's strength, they are not enough. To truly defeat the enemy, they must awaken the four legendary protectors-the only warriors strong enough to restore the balance of the world. As Nani and Sky fight side by side, their bond deepens, challenging the very laws of heaven and sea. But with love forbidden between a celestial guardian and a mortal prince, will their hearts become a strength or their downfall? The Kingdom of Knights will rise again. The four protectors will awaken. But in the end, will Nani and Sky's love survive the battle that awaits? -- ✍️Ven_Writes
