Sorcerers can see the future-just not their own. For generations, sorcerer families have made their living by divining fate for others. But there's a catch: revealing heaven's secrets comes at a cost. Their heirs are born frail, and few live to old age. They could read fortunes for their own kin, too-but spilling those secrets? That'd earn them a one-way ticket to divine punishment. Enter Sky, the youngest grandson of Bangkok's most powerful sorcerer lineage... and the last of their bloodline. On his 18th birthday, his grandfather gave him the traditional coming-of-age prophecy-only to uncover a grim twist: Sky wouldn't survive past 28, all because of some "destined person." Sky's response? "Cool. If I find them and 'cancel' their destiny, I'm golden." So he cheated the system, using a forbidden charm to track them down. Meanwhile, Nani's life was a comedy of errors. Instant noodles? No flavor packet. Buses? Always pulling away as he sprinted toward them. His only talent? Fighting. (And maybe failing upward.) Then, after getting booted from his soccer team (again, for fighting), some curly-haired weirdo offered him a job as a "luck-changing assistant." Spoiler: It was 100% a bodyguard gig. And thus-their chaos began.

It had been six months since their wedding - an arranged marriage that neither of them had expected to fall in love with. What began as a polite partnership had grown into something quietly intoxicating. Sky had learned to share his world, to open up the parts of himself he'd locked away. Nani had learned what it felt like to be truly seen, to be loved with a fierce, almost possessive devotion. Their days were ordinary in the most beautiful way - shared breakfasts, lazy evenings, laughter echoing through their modern apartment. Their nights were a blend of passion and peace, bodies tangled together, the world fading beyond their heartbeat. To the world, they were perfect. But behind that perfection, destiny had already begun to weave something darker. ___________ When Sky was offered a new project - to renovate a centuries-old mansion deep within the forest by a quiet lake - he felt drawn to it for reasons he couldn't explain. The proposal arrived through an anonymous investor, the details unnervingly vague. The mansion itself was massive, long abandoned, yet its architecture was hauntingly beautiful. The lake beside it shimmered like glass, unmoving, silent - almost too silent. They moved temporarily into a nearby bungalow - modern, luxurious, and eerily quiet. The few neighbors around rarely stepped outside. Even the air felt still, as if the whole place was waiting. It was supposed to be just another project - six months of work, a lifetime of reward. But from the moment they arrived, Nani felt it. A pull. A whisper. Like the walls, the lake, the forest - they all knew their names already. As if something... or someone... had been waiting for them to return. And soon, both Sky and Nani would realize - love isn't the only thing that can survive lifetimes. Sometimes, hauntings do too.
