Catra is a criminal and Adora's a cop. They meet when Catra's arrested and Adora's assigned to guard her. Adora will soon learn that the motives behind Catra's actions are much more complex than she mistakenly assumed, leading Adora to decide whether her definition of justice is what society says it should be, or what she knows to be true.

Catra's Redemption

She decides to disband the Horde, starting with the cadets. While doing so, she receives a message from Horde Prime which only assures her she's making the right choice. This leads to a full redemption arc where Queen Angella is saved, Despara appears, the Horde joins the Rebellion, and Catra has her own space adventure. Don't worry though - the actual canon divergence is limited, and catradora will still save the universe!
