Mature
(Multi POV)

Freya keeps the world at arm's length-detached, guarded, and lost in shadows she can't escape. Haunted by a past that cuts deeper than anyone sees, she drifts through life like a ghost, clinging to the few things she still trusts.

Knox wears his anger like armor-walls built high, an 'I don't give a fuck' attitude hiding the storm beneath. His past is violent, his pain raw, and distance is his only defense in a world that never gave him a chance.

When their paths cross, something shifts. There's a pull-strange, intense, and hauntingly familiar. But the truth behind it lies buried in silence, in memories too painful to face.

In a world where trust is fragile and survival feels like war, Freya and Knox will have to confront their demons-alone, and together-if they want any chance at something more than just surviving.

She gave herself a year. He refuses to let her waste it. Mila~ One year. That's all I've given myself. One year to pretend I'm fine, to laugh when I'm breaking, to love him in silence before I'm gone. Because Jonah makes me feel things I swore I'd never let myself feel again-like hope, like warmth, like the terrifying possibility of forever. And that's why I can't stay. Because if I let myself fall completely, I'll shatter both of us when the year ends. Jonah~ She thinks she can keep me at arm's length. That her sharp words and slammed doors will make me give up. But I see her. I see every crack she tries to hide, every storm she walks into alone. Mila thinks she's running out of time. But I'm not letting her go-not when she's the only thing I've ever wanted to fight for. What if the person you hated most was the only one who could save you? Mila is seventeen and tired. Tired of fighting, tired of pretending, tired of believing she'll ever be enough. She's convinced she's unlovable and wants to end it all -until Jonah crashes into her world like an unwanted storm. He's loud, reckless, impossible. She's quiet, guarded, done. But life doesn't care that they're opposites. Somehow, they keep getting thrown together-and somehow, it starts to matter. As the chaos of growing up threatens to break them and secrets from their families threaten to uproot them, Mila and Jonah might just learn that love doesn't always look like what you expect... and that sometimes, the right person is the one you never saw coming.

Complete-BUT still under editing/Polishing/and some revision towards the end. Bella moved to West Virginia to escape a monster. Brandon went to escape himself. She is fire wrapped in thorns. She's sharp, untouchable, and running from a past that refuses to die. He is leather and silence. He's scarred, and grounded, a boy who learned long ago to feel nothing at all. When their worlds collide, numbness is no longer an option. And control isn't in either of their hands. She makes him feel. He makes her breathe. The more they fight it, the more it consumes them. But what's worse is they're left to accept that some things are terrifyingly inevitable. Because love isn't their biggest risk... obsession is. To survive, Bella and Brandon must choose: let someone else in... or die trying. When a raven meets a dove, surrender might be the only way to survive. This is a haunting, slow-burn dark romance with a psychological thriller edge. Two broken souls bound trauma and nightmares find common ground in one thing-each other. Steamy. Sweet. Thrilling. Action-packed with plot twists and a love that doesn't just pull you in-but keeps you locked in. Intimate and emotional and definitely written for a mature audience. Book one of S.O.D is packed with just enough dark humor to keep you scrolling until 3 a.m. My fresh take on cliche dark romance. •All rights and words/ideas/characters belong to me, the author. Finn has been the man of the house since he was a child. Simply surviving, he doesn't want any more responsibility than he's already burdened with at 18 - until he helps a mysterious abused girl he met near his new workplace. His caring and protective nature quickly brings her into his life but their budding relationship falls apart just as fast, until an incident and the subsequent events make them slowly come back together. Later, when Finn loses the only other thing he cares about in life he's faced with the choice of driving her away or being vulnerable enough to depend on her. Maybe she can finally make him feel taken care of back; the one thing that he's always truly needed. A more mature and healthy rewrite of a book I started writing when I was 14, inspired by the trashy, dramatic, emo love stories I was obsessed with on this platform a decade ago. I was dealing with a lot at the time so I came up with this book idea, where both main characters have dramatized aspects of myself in them, as a way to make myself feel lovable, so writing this now is a nostalgic and creative way of looking back, processing, and letting go of the emotions I was going through as an adolescent. I hope you enjoy! CONTENT WARNINGS include: regular profanity, descriptive sex scenes, minor sexual assault, minor gore, familial abuse, verbal and physical abuse, childhood trauma, tragically orphaned, absentee father, forced maturity, anxiety issues / panic attacks, neglect, starvation, descriptions of thin female body, legal trial of abuser. * Warnings may be edited as I write this. * Any new warnings will be put at the start of the new chapter including them, so don't worry.
