Maria Gutiérrez has a boring life as an accountant for the government agency A.R.G.U.S. She is quiet, meek and unsuspecting. Which makes her the perfect candidate as an undercover operative in Evergreen, Washington. Her mission is simple: to get to the target she must first get to his closest companion; Vigilante. What is an easy job is suddenly becoming one that she didn't expect. One that comes with feelings. As she grows closer to the person of interest, she finds herself getting the urge to become the one thing she was warned against. A freak just like him.
