Serenity is a 17 year old girl living in a world that has been at war for decades. One sibling in each family is drafted for the war on their 16th birthday and if they live until they are 18 they get a ticket out of war and so do all of their sibling that have turned 18 in that time. Serenity has always been optimistic of her chances to not be drafted due to the fact that she has 3 brothers to fight ahead of her but when the last one dies in battle and that dreaded knock comes at her door will she be able to stay alive? With the help of a friend that her last brother left behind she thinks she might have a slight chance but is relying on pure optimism in order to save her life. Will she make it?
