He looked into her eyes, wrapped one arm around her waist, and lifted her up effortlessly, placing her gently on the table nearby.
She didn't blink, didn't flinch - just kept staring into his eyes, watching every move he made.
He took both her hands, guiding them around his neck, locking them there like a soft chain.
The grip of his hand around her waist tightened as he pulled her even closer to him - every inch closing in, heat building between them.

She let out an unintentional moan.
Her warm breath brushed against his neck, sending a slow shiver through him. He closed his eyes, leaned in, and gently placed his lips near her ear.
