However, Lyra quickly runs into problems. Not only does he fail to recognise her but he's nothing like she imagined; cold, stubborn and determined to keep himself away from her. Rejected but determined to keep him safe as her magic whispers of his death, she follows him through danger and blood as he stalks his own hunt, desperate to shake the hooks that keeps pulling him back to her. First Volume of the Dark Folktales. This is a horror, erotic romance, with monster-of-the-week vibes, such as Buffy, Supernatural, Witcher, Claymore, and Van Helsing. (I'm a massive fan of the monster hunting genre.) Written from Sep 2011 until April 2014. This was the very first adult romance I'd written and has a plethora of problems. Despite this, I won't do further editing as I'm putting my efforts into a full re-write. Author's note - Please be mindful of what you're saying when commenting. I'm happy with helpful criticism, spelling/grammar pointers, questions or simple chatter. However, a tirade of needless, unhelpful complaints and just outright rude commentary is not welcome. My stories are terrible first drafts, they're going to be riddled with issues, so just politely highlight if you feel there's a problem. I'll listen and likely take on board the criticism. And if you're not enjoying it, that's fine, just move on and thank you for giving it a shot. The cover is my own art; sketched 2017. The hidden heir:Beyond the crown

23 parts Ongoing

In the high-tech, magic-touched kingdom of **Aurelia**, every royal is born into the spotlight - except one. **Princess Elara Vale**, the youngest child of the royal family, was hidden from the world after a prophecy declared she would "awaken what was lost." To keep her safe, her parents erased her existence from public records. She grew up surrounded by love from her siblings but always behind walls, longing to see the world for herself. When her secret is accidentally leaked, Elara runs away - not in rebellion, but in search of freedom, identity, and purpose. In the neon city of **Ravenport**, she meets **Kael Arden**, a quiet mechanic with no memory of his childhood and a strange amulet that glows in her presence. As they form a bond, they're joined by a group of unexpected friends - a hacker, a healer, and a street magician - each searching for their own truth. Together, they discover that Kael is the lost prince of the long-vanished Shadow Realm, kidnapped at birth, and that the prophecy ties both of them to the future of their worlds. Through their journey, Elara learns what it means to live beyond a title. Kael learns what it means to belong. And their friends - ordinary people with extraordinary hearts - become the family they choose. It's a story about **finding friendship, courage, and self-worth** in a world that often defines you by what you were born to be - not who you choose to become.
