Nathaniel and Marc, recovering from the effects of The Ruler, find out that their comic has been officially published! To celebrate, Nathaniel's family decide to hold a gala for the two boys, but is the gala truly for them, or do Nathaniel's parents have ulterior motives?

(Takes place after wishmaker) I've always thought Miraculous would be better as a darker more adult show. So, I'm writing this and making it gay bc lukadrien is one of the only good ships left. (I still ship Marichat but damn,,, bi Adrien? Yes please) so this fic will have a darker take on Adriens situation, and will mention abuse, self destructive behaviours and the internal conflict of coming out. I decided to do a miraculous ladybug fanfiction since I haven't done one yet and I am having trouble with ideas but this one flew into my mind the other day. This will be a felinette story, but before you all run away, please read the first chapter to understand how this AU is going to work. Now for the description. Marinette Dupain-Cheng never expected that being guardian would be so stressful. But it was. Now, at sixteen, after being Ladybug for two years and being Guardian of the Miraculous for one, she was beginning to crack. It didn't help that Lila had taken all of her friends away from her.
