What do you do when you're framed for murder? Plead non guilty.

What do you do when there's somehow evidence that claims you as said murderer? You're unable to lose the charges.

When Lilith Blackfire is framed for the murder of her father, the evidence left behind and found points all fingers towards her direction; even when she truly was innocent. However, unable to fight back and win, Lilith is forced to spend time in Fontaine's prison; the Fortress of Meropide.

Rumored to be a place of dreadful work and where you could take your last breath, Lilith forces herself to try and survive within the Fortress, all while looking for a way to show she's as innocent as she claims. On her path of freedom, she catches the eye of the one man she didn't wish to ever be known to; the Fortress of Meropides Grace.

Near lingers death

1 part Complete

• cross-posted from ao3 • There's shifting snow underneath him, then he blinks and suddenly he's free falling. Like a slumbering beast the ground had opened its maw, swallowing snow and debris alike. He can't even see where he's falling. Sometimes he can see the sky above and sometimes only pitch-black darkness. And when his fall finally reaches its end, he lands hard. There is no river to catch him. No other body he could have clung to. He is entirely alone as he smashes into the ground, creating an earwrecking boom and a rather wide crater. He can't move. Everything hurts. But he is alive. And that is the worst.
