Everly Parker knows how to keep things light. Parties, hookups, and never catching feelings, that's how she protects herself from becoming anything like her parents, whose bitter divorce still echoes in her life. Liam Wilson hides behind routines, workouts, and the ice. Hockey is his escape, and love? It's not part of the plan, hockey is the only plan especially after watching his own family fall apart. But one night changes everything. They start to fall for each other but now, two lines on a pregnancy test force them into facing their fears, and into a future neither of them saw coming. As secrets surface and hearts get tangled, Everly and Liam must decide if love is worth the risk, or if they're destined to repeat the mistakes of their parents. Because beneath the jersey their love is real and so is the life they never saw coming.
