A dystopian post-apocalypse world, in future society. Magic exist but comes with consequences, along aligning with technology and science as time passes by.
In future time, society and the world itself act differently, Void entities had ruled the Earth from an unseen rift outside the universe. All this due to the existence of the goddess herself named 'Lily', taking decisions to change humanity's norm but ended in a drastic way.
Then comes Nero. A man had been stasis long in the ruins of an enslavement corporate building had awaken when the goddess herself noticed him. And Lily given tasks to Nero to begin his journey to the 'Void' and mess upon the world itself.
She gifted him a weapon.
A gun in his hand.
He did not ask further as to why, or rather in later times but assess the situation in hands before hitting the road. Then started his way to adventure himself, all from his given purpose and goals by the goddess Lily. To sort out the mess and to discover past lores. From ruins, cities to unknown places.

That was until a mysterious medieval-looking structure appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Washington D.C. This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters.
