=Cherry Rolle, a 19-year-old Black college student, has been in love with one boy her entire life-Liam, her white best friend-turned-boyfriend. From their innocent days in primary school to the passionate moments they now share on campus, their bond has only grown stronger... and a lot more intense.

But their open displays of affection-stolen kisses in hallways, heated touches behind closed doors, and moments caught by wandering eyes-spark gossip, judgment, and even disgust. Some say they're obsessed. Others say they're reckless. Few believe it's real love.

As whispers grow louder and the line between admiration and invasion begins to blur, Cherry and Liam are forced to ask themselves:
