Li Xinyue who is 16 years old girl lives in a small city in Sinchuan Province. Her parents died in a car accident when she was 5 years old and she was look after by her grand parents. She now lives with her aging grandparents and struggles with poverty, but she is kind, intelligent, and determined to go to Yuehua High School and she meets Zhang Yuchen, a wealthy but troubled transfer student from Beijing. Though their backgrounds are very different, they both carry silent burdens. Facing challenges like peer pressure, health problems at home, and academic stress, they begin to rely on each other. Through understanding and support, they overcome their struggles together - slowly building trust, friendship, and hope for a better future.
