A haunting, redemptive short tale set in the year of 1720, in which Trueth Ridley - a humble gardener's helper - recklessly seeks a cure from forbidden place for her beloved, only to return broken by darkness. Cast out and feared as a harbinger of evil, she wanders in grief until divine mercy and her righteous king reach across the gulf of sin to heal her shattered soul. A story of pride and punishment turned into grace, where forgiveness blooms more wondrously than any mountain flower.
