Jungkook has lived his whole life haunted by the sense of impending death. Since childhood, he could feel when someone was about to die-like a pressure in the air, a cold chill, the flicker of something just beyond the veil. At first, it was just random strangers. But then it became people close to him. And no matter what he did to stop it, death always won.

He's grown up paranoid, traumatized, maybe even institutionalized at some point. He has survivor's guilt. He's convinced that "Death" isn't just a force-it's a presence, one that wants him. Watches him. Waits for him.
