Iron heart

Adrienne Lenox carries two burdens: the abandonment of her birth mother and the constant struggle to define herself as a biracial woman in a world that often feels overwhelmingly white. Raised in a loving, predominantly white household by her father, William, and stepmother, Sarah, Adrienne cherishes her family, including her little sister, Anna. But a piece of her always feels missing. Then, a massive black truck shows up at her home, and with it, a stoic soldier named Ron.

"Ron," as he introduces himself, is a new colleague of her father's, and he'll be staying with them for a while. Adrienne feels an inexplicable connection to him, a pull she can't explain. As she spends time with "Ron," she finds herself drawn to his quiet strength and unwavering loyalty, feeling a spark she never expected. But "Ron" is more than he seems. As she experiences her own Cybertronian awakening, she and Ironhide forge an unexpected connection, challenging her preconceived notions about love, family, and belonging.
