Ai has only known the world that has been planned for her. It's the same thing day in and day out, wake up, remeber to breath and survive. Between the abusive scientist's, and the mutant's who all seem a little unhinged, nothing seems to change. Ai is the only animal genetic experiment, well or so she thought. Will the new cat kid prove himself useful or be enemy number one. The number one rule here is don't get caught. This is their story and as Ai would say "Welcome to Mutant Hell"

Ever thought surviving first period-and facing her best friend's boyfriend, whom she recently kissed-would be the hardest part of her day. She was wrong. The world is ending. Literally. Between dodging awkward hallway interactions with her best friend's boyfriend and dodging the apocalypse, Ever discovers she may be the one person capable of saving mankind. No pressure, right? But just when she's barely wrapping her head around her destiny, a mysterious (and annoyingly handsome) stranger shows up. He drives her crazy, yet somehow feels...familiar. And he just might hold the key to unlocking Ever's forgotten past and to stopping the strange, earth-shattering events unraveling the future. As secrets unfold and loyalties are tested, Ever has to make a choice: walk away from the chaos and pretend the world isn't ending or embrace her destiny and risk everything to save it. After all, being a teenager is hard. Being the savior of humanity? That's a whole new level. *This is book one in a series
