(Dare)ling

Katherine Elisabeth Hudson is a young woman who lives in south California, US. She has always been happy and grateful because of her caring family and awesome friends but one day, everything crushed down. Her little sister had an accident, and because she had lost too much blood, she died. Four days after this tragic event, her dad was found dead in his bedroom. The dead daughter was the youngest and was a daddy girl; Kate's dad couldn't handle all that so he went to join her, not leaving her alone again.
Kate is now an alcoholic, a smoker and a drug consummator. She goes to parties almost every night and usually skips classes unless her ill mum does insist all morning. She studies architecture and design in one of the less popular colleges. Her family has not enough money to afford her studies in the best ones. However Kate never complains because she already thinks that studying is useless, that people will one day die and all the crap that they had studied and learned would be a waste of time and effort. That's what she learned from life in the past one year. Her dad was a famous surgeon and had studied for long hard years, but at the end he committed suicide. Same thing for Faith, she had always been the best student, having the best grades and the perfect behavior, everybody complimented her and thanked her for her hard work. But, she died as well.
One day, her life will turn upside down.
She would return to classes, become a good student again, and behave much better. Just be a better person.
