Growing up both Catholic and Queer did a number on Rowan Scott.
Behind My Eyelids, a band from fucking Alaska. It was Rowan, Onyx Fuller who was his best friend, Marliene Sawyer, and Devin Monroe. They were signed quickly, but it just so happened they were rivaled against Panic! At The Disco. They compared Rowan to Brendon, putting them up against each other. There wasn't any bad blood.
The biggest issue? Rowan couldn't love anyone without the fear of falling apart, but it wasn't the fear of falling apart. It was the fear of him being gay, and it being his biggest part in the media. He was raised Catholic, told that because people liked their same gender they'd burn in hell. Then, he met Brendon. The Mormon boy from Las Vegas. That made it worse.
